Description
Suddon's Farmhouse is a house dating from around the 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and is positioned with its back to the road. The building has an L-shaped plan with a wing extending to the northeast and features a thatched hipped roof. The garden front, which is rendered, has three bays and includes two, three, and four light hollow chamfered stone mullion windows with dripmoulds and leaded panes. There is a central flush panel door topped by a late 19th-century hood. The right-hand wing (northeast) contains wooden mullion windows with leaded panes and a 19th-century lean-to outshut on the ground floor. The house also has rebuilt brick ridge stacks and features one sash window and a doorway on the road elevation (west).
