Description
Cloakham House was built in 1732 and underwent remodelling in the early 19th century, with further alterations in the late 19th century and modern changes. The house features a slate hipped bell-cast roof made of ashlar stone. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with the centre bay slightly recessed. The ground floor has large modern casement windows and modern segmental bays with iron balconies above. A late 19th-century central porch is supported by pairs of columns and features an entablature with a balustrade. The centre window on the first floor has a tented canopy, and the east side of the house has a wide two-storey bay.
