Description

The Trump headstone, dated 1797, is located approximately 4 metres north of the chancel of the Church of St John. This headstone commemorates William Trump and is made of limestone. It stands upright at about 400 mm high, with its top shaped like a bifurcated scroll. The front features an inscription in Roman serif upper and lower case lettering, detailing the death of William Trump in 1797. Additionally, a series of iron spikes are set into the top of the stone.
