Description
The building occupied by Temple Winds Antiques and Gifts is a late 18th century to early 19th century corner block located at the junction of Chapel Hill and Beacon Hill. It is red brick with a wide moulded eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof, standing three storeys tall with attics. The Chapel Hill facade features a bowed window on the first floor and a ground floor shop front that includes iron cresting above. The rounded corner has three light bowed sash windows on the first and second floors. The early 19th century double bowed shop front has a shop door with curved stone steps and an iron handrail on one side. The Beacon Hill facade includes a Tuscan porch with a doorway that has a fanlight and sidelights. There are louvred shutters on the first floor window, with one blank window on each floor and an unbarred sash on the ground floor.
