Description
The cross base, located approximately 2 metres south-west of the Rolle Mausoleum in Bicton Park, dates from the 15th century. It features a sandstone shaft and a local stone rubble plinth with dressed limestone edges. The thin stump of the cross-shaft has chamfered edges and stands about 600 millimetres high. It is positioned on a large octagonal plinth with two steps.
