Description
Coly House is a house built in the early 19th century. It has a stucco exterior and a low-pitched slate hipped roof with overhanging eaves. The building is two storeys tall and features a 1:2:1 bay arrangement, with the end bays having panelled corner pilasters. The central two bays are recessed and have deep eaves above. The windows are sash style with glazing bars, and the ground floor windows on the left and right are set in pedimented architraves. In the centre, there are two garden doors with louvred shutters, which are now enclosed by a modern glazed extension. The left side of the house has three bays and a central porch supported by Tuscan columns and an entablature. There are stuccoed chimney stacks with large plain caps, and a gabled wing along with a modern extension at the rear.
