Description
The Brown monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 12 meters north of the northeast angle of the northeast chapel of the Church of St. Thomas. It dates from around 1830 and is made of pennant stone. The tomb features two wreathed oval side plaques, baluster corners, a moulded base, and a ridged capstone. There are two rectangular plaques on the north side with a plant spray between them. The inscriptions commemorate W.J. Brown, who died in 1827, and B. Brown, who died in 1826.
