Description

The milestone located to the north of No. 42 on Church Street in Warminster dates from around 1840. It is one of several notable cast-iron milestones in Warminster, produced by Carson and Miller of Warminster. The milestone features a moulded head cap and bears the inscription "Bath 17 Warminster."
