Description
This is an 18th-century building of two storeys plus attics, located on Market Street. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a slate roof. The building features a moulded cornice and a parapet with coping along the roofline. Two dormers are present, each with wooden-framed casements. The first floor has two paired sash windows with glazing bars. A modern shop-front occupies the ground floor. This building is part of a group with numbers 5 to 8, numbers 10 to 35 (consecutive), the boundary wall at Priory Lodge, and the elevated pavement in front of number 21.
