Description

The Crook Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 18 meters south of the south porch of the Church of St Michael. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded table and recessed corner balusters. An oval panel adorned with tied drapes is set on end pilasters. It commemorates William and Ann Crook, who died in 1818 and 1820, respectively.
