Description

The Cross is a house dating from the late 17th century, featuring a timber frame and painted brick on a rubble stone plinth. It has a stone slate half-hipped roof with a ridge stack. The building is two stories high and has a three-window front, showcasing exposed square framing and angle braces, along with regularly spaced 20th-century metal casement windows. The central door is located in a stone slate gabled porch. At the rear, there is a catslide roof with large 20th-century flat dormers.
