Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located about 2 metres north of the vestry of the Church of St Mary in Wingfield. It is likely from the early 19th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a moulded plinth, two fielded panels, and a moulded flat top, although the inscription is illegible. At the time of the survey in July 1987, the tomb was overgrown with ivy.
