Description

The Crook and Roper monument is a double chest tomb located in the churchyard, approximately 4 meters south of the tower of the Church of St Michael. This early 19th-century monument is made of limestone and features a moulded table and base, recessed corner balusters, fielded side panels, and oval end panels. It commemorates John Crook, Robert Roper, and Ann, who died in 1857 and 1862, along with other family members added later.
