Description

The Manor House is a mid-19th century house, possibly built on an earlier core, now divided into two residences. It features painted render over chalk rubble and has a slate roof with eaves. The building is two storeys high with an attic and is arranged in an L-shape.

The front has a three-window layout with long painted stone mullion windows that include small-paned lights. At the center, there is an ashlar stack on the ridge, flanked by 3-light windows on either side. Above the door, which is set in a plain raised ashlar surround, there is a single light window with a transom. A large, 20th-century glazed verandah with a slate roof is attached to the ground floor.

The west end features a canted ashlar bay, while the east end has a 3-light window on the main floors and a pair of casement windows in the attic. The lower northeast wing includes an ashlar ridge stack and a brick stack, with a four-window range that has smaller 2-light upper windows and longer 3-light windows on the ground floor, along with a door in a projecting glazed porch. A later painted brick rear wing is located at the northwest.
