Description

The M. Guy monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 4 meters north of the S. Guy monument and north of the north aisle door of the Church of St. Bartholomew. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of ashlar stone. The north side features a projecting center with a heavy raised circular plaque set in an egg-and-dart moulded frame, flanked by fielded panels. The corners are rounded with floral drops. It has a moulded base and cornice, along with a pulvinated frieze. The monument bears an inscription to Mary Guy.
