Description

The Old Laundry is a late 18th-century building located on Stratford Road. It is two storeys high and constructed of red brick, with some grey headers. The roof is made of old tiles and features hipped gable ends. A tall brick chimney with block capping rises from the structure. The building has three irregularly spaced casements with two and three lights, all featuring cambered brick arches and glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are three 3-light casements. The entrance includes a plain ledged door with a camber head. To the north, there is a later single-storey red brick extension.
