Description
This garden seat, located approximately 30 meters southwest of Belcombe Court, was built in the 1740s for Francis Yerbury. It is made of coursed and dressed limestone and features an elliptical shape with scrolled ends. The seat is part of a garden that is bordered by a ha-ha and includes a grotto, a temple, and a Gothick cottage, all of which were created by Francis Yerbury to the west of Belcombe Court during the 1740s.
