Description

The ha-ha to the west of Belcombe Court is a structure built in the 1740s for Francis Yerbury. It is made of coursed limestone rubble and extends approximately 180 meters from the northwest corner of the garden walls to the southeast of the temple, adjacent to Belcombe Road. This ha-ha forms a boundary for the garden created to the west of Belcombe Court during the 1740s, which also includes a temple, grotto, and garden seat. It is included in the listing for its group value.
