Description
This is a 17th-century house that has been significantly renewed in the early 20th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a renewed stone-tile roof with coped gables and end stacks. The house has one and a half storeys and includes three dormer gables, each with 2-light mullion windows and hoodmoulds. One of the dormer windows is original with an ovolo-moulded design, while the other two are late 19th or early 20th century flush chamfered windows.
On the ground floor, there is a 3-light ovolo-moulded window with a hoodmould, which was lengthened in the early 20th century. The entrance features a six-panel door with a hood supported by brackets, alongside a single light and a 2-light window, both of which are late 19th or early 20th century flush chamfered. An original 2-light window has been reset in the west end wall, having been removed from the rear wall. There is also a bread oven projection in the east end wall. At the rear, there is a brick lean-to and three dormer gables with 2-light windows and hoodmoulds; the left dormer is from the 19th or early 20th century, the center is ovolo-moulded, and the right is recessed cyma-moulded.
