Description
The Cole monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 7 metres north of the Reynolds monument, next to the west boundary wall and north of the Church of St. Bartholomew. It dates from around 1835 and is made of ashlar with a pennant top slab. The monument features vermiculated angle piers, a recessed plaque on each side, and a moulded base and cornice. The top slab is inscribed to W. Cole, who died in 1835.
