Description
Nos 13 and 14 Church Street are 18th century buildings that stand 2 and a half storeys tall. They are constructed of stucco on rubble, featuring rusticated pilaster strips at the corners and in the center, along with a lead rainwater head. The buildings have a projecting plinth and a moulded, bracketed wooden cornice beneath an old tile roof that is half hipped. The first floor has four glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor has three.
No 14 has a six-panel door located to the right of center, which features shaped center panels and is set within a stone doorcase supported by semi-engaged Doric columns, topped with an entablature and pediment. No 13 is accessed from the south front, which includes a projecting Doric porch with a blocking course. Inside, there is a staircase with a long flight and a curled base.
