Description

These are two early 19th-century buildings located on Leigh Road. The buildings are arranged in an 'L' shape. The front facade is painted brick with a pantile roof, half-hipped to the left. Brick chimneys are visible, one on the right gable end and another at the front corner to the left. The ground floor features two ranges of three-light casement windows with segmental arches. A central entrance has a four-panel door, the upper two panels glazed, also with a segmental overarch and a modern flat hood. A mullion and transom window, of oak with ovolo mouldings, was added to the left-hand return around 1939, its style suggesting a 17th or early 18th-century origin. Number 100 is a two-storey extension, rendered and featuring two ranges of two-light casement windows. A late 19th-century pantiled porch with bracketed gables fronts a ledged door.
