Description

The Baily monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 2 metres north of the nave of the Church of St Mary in Wingfield. It commemorates Thomas Baily, who died in 1792. The monument is made of limestone and features two fielded panels on the main sides, a fluted centre pilaster, quarter balusters, and a moulded cornice that supports a flat top.
