Description

The Vale Hotel is an early 19th-century hotel located on the west side of High Street in Cricklade. The building is constructed of stucco and features raised quoins and rustication below the ground floor windows. It has a Welsh slate roof and stands three storeys tall with three bays. The central entrance is framed by a doorcase that includes fluted pilasters and an entablature, accessed by three steps. The windows are sixteen-pane sashes, with 20th-century applied louvred shutters, and the second floor has eight-pane windows.
