Description

The gatepiers and street wall, located east of the Church of St. Mary, date from the 19th century. They are made of square limestone ashlar and feature blind cusped gablets along with a cast iron lamp overthrow. The gatepiers are connected by a limestone rubble wall that extends to the east end and continues beyond to No. 60, which was formerly the Rectory, where there is another pier. The railings that once adorned the structure have been removed.
