Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built between 1680 and 1700, with alterations made in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and a cellar, with a double pile layout. The front elevation, facing south, was remodeled in the early 19th century and consists of three bays. It includes a central six-panelled door with a fanlight, set within a decorative iron open porch topped with a swept lead roof. The windows are twelve-paned sashes with concealed boxes and gauged brick lintels. The roof is hipped.
At the rear, there is a parallel block from the 18th century, which has a left wing featuring a stone mullioned and transomed window. Inside, the farmhouse boasts a late 17th-century twisted baluster staircase with panelled newels. There are three roof trusses with plated yokes that support a diagonal ridge piece, and the left truss has an extended collar that bears on the rear stack.
