Description

Bankside is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of cob with a hipped thatched roof and features a brick stack. The building has a central baffle-entry and is two storeys high with two windows. The front includes a planked door with a thatched porch positioned to the right of centre, a 1-light casement window and a 2-light casement window to the left, along with a 20th-century casement window inserted into a blocked doorway. On the first floor, there are two 2-light casements. The right side of the cottage has a 2-light casement window on both the ground and first floors, while the rear is windowless. Inside, there are blocked open fireplaces and a partly renewed roof.
