Description

The Crook monument is a late 18th-century chest tomb located approximately 14 meters south of the south transept of the Church of St Michael. It is made of limestone and features a corniced table. The tomb has recessed corner scrolls and a central vine scroll that divides fielded panels. An entablature sits above the panels. The monument commemorates William Crook, who died in 1797.
