Description

This is an early to mid-19th century mirrored pair of houses, originally two separate dwellings and now combined into a single residence. The building has solid rendered walls showing traces of ashlar markings, and a slate roof with a chimney on each gable end. It is three storeys high. Each original house had one window per storey, positioned at the outside end of the front facade. A central paired round-arched doorway gives access, featuring four-panelled doors with the lower two panels flush and fanlights with two radial bars. The ground floor of the left-hand house has a six-paned window, dating from the mid-19th century, likely a former shop window. Other windows on the ground and second floors are eight-paned sashes, while those on the third storey have two-paned sashes with horns. A sill band runs along the second storey.
