Description

9 The Quay is a house with a shop, dating from the early 19th century. It features a solid rendered front and a slated roof, standing four storeys tall and two windows wide. The shop front includes an early to mid-19th century display window, which is a notable feature. The left side has a bow-fronted window with 29 panes, while the right side has a four-paned window with only vertical glazing bars, which has been extended to the right, likely blocking a former doorway. The second and third storey windows are fitted with two-paned sashes in box frames, and the shorter fourth-storey windows have two-light wood casements.
