Description
Marston Farmhouse is a 18th-century farmstead that has undergone alterations. The building is two storeys tall with a concealed attic and is constructed of rubble with a slate roof. It has a 'U'-shaped plan, with the north wing being a 19th-century addition that includes a lean-to open passage. The east front features brick repairs and has four irregularly placed windows on the first floor and three on the ground floor. There are two doors leading to a through-passage, with the main entrance located at the rear. The north wing was previously used as a cheeseroom and is currently a tack room. A datestone on the south-west chimney, which is obscured, is dated 1755 and is likely reset.
