Description

The Bryan monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 10 metres south of the nave of the Church of Holy Trinity. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and plain quarter balusters. On the north side, there are paired inscription panels that include a putto in the central spandrel, along with a trumpet and scroll, and foliage decorating the edges of the panels. The monument is dedicated to Sarah Bryan, who passed away in 1817.
