Description

The Johnson chest tomb, located in the churchyard about 5 metres northwest of the porch of the Church of St. John, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a flat sandstone top with inscription panels on the north, south, and east sides. The tomb is adorned with square quarter columns and a moulded plinth, commemorating William Johnson, who died in 1804, along with other family members.
