Description
Horton Court Cottage is a cottage that dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and an extension added in the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a 20th-century tiled roof with brick stacks at the ends. The cottage has two storeys and consists of two bays, with glazing bar sash windows on the left side. On the right, there is a projecting single-storey extension from the early to mid-19th century, which has a catslide roof, two 16-pane glazing bar sash windows, and a panelled door at the west end. Inside, there is a panelled room on the ground floor in the northeast corner, which includes a shell-headed cupboard. The cottage was formerly known as Horton Court Farmhouse.
