Description

This is a chest tomb located about 6 metres southeast of the chancel of the Church of Holy Trinity in Doynton. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a shaped top with a moulded edge and corner pilasters that have raised panels. There are paired inscription panels on the north and south sides, separated by a dividing pilaster, and it has a cornice. At the time of the survey in September 1984, the tomb was noted to be in poor condition.
