Description
Beech Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from around 1815, featuring a refronting of possibly an earlier building, along with later alterations and additions. The structure is built from roughly coursed rubble and has a slate roof with raised coped verges and brick gable stacks. The front of the house is symmetrical, with two storeys and three windows, all of which are sashes with horns and segmental heads. The central entrance consists of a panelled and glass door with a segmental head, and the first-floor windows are positioned under the eaves.
On the right side of the building, there are two 20th-century windows at the ground floor, and there is a straight joint between the front and rear blocks, along with a gabled porch at the rear. The left side has similar windows. The rear of the farmhouse features two lean-tos, a variety of window styles, and remains of a parapet wall to the right, which is located above the eaves of the main house. The interior has not been inspected.
