Description
There are two sections of wall in Olveston, dating from the 15th or 16th century. The walls are constructed of rubble with stone dressings and brick. The section adjoining The Bee Garden is approximately 27 metres long and 3 metres high. It features a door with a pointed arch and a brick head, along with five bee-boles on the south side. The second section, located about 50 metres east of The Bee Garden, measures about 29 metres long and 2 metres high, and has four bee-boles on the west side. Each bee-bole has a stone surround and a triangular head, standing about 45 centimetres high.
