Description

The Johnson chest tomb, located in the churchyard about 5 metres north of the porch of the Church of St. John, dates from the mid-18th century. It is made of limestone and features sandstone inscription panels on the south and east sides. The tomb has a flat top with a moulded edge and a plinth, along with plain quarter balusters. It commemorates Elizabeth Johnson, who died in 1762, and other members of the Johnson family.
