Description

Home Farmhouse and adjoining barn is a late 17th-century farmhouse, with alterations from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is located in Hawkesbury. The farmhouse is constructed of rendered material with a Cotswold stone slate roof. It comprises two wings: the main part is two storeys and attics to the left, and a lower wing to the right with one storey and attics contained within a hipped dormer. The facade features four windows and a central door, with a mix of three-light and two-light casement windows, and glazing bar sash windows. A stair tower is situated at the rear of the house. The interior retains stop-chamfered beams, and originally featured a cross passage plan. To the right of the farmhouse is a rubble barn with a loft door in a hipped dormer.
