Description

Kirkdale is a late 17th-century building that has been altered in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is constructed of rubble with a pantile roof and features a brick chimney. The entrance facade is 1½ storeys high, while the rear rises to 2½ storeys. It has two 2-light casement windows that are framed by moulded stone surrounds and mullions; originally, these were cross windows, and one window still retains its transom. The building also has dripmoulds with dropped and returned ends. A 20th-century door is set within a brick surround at the doorway.
