Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located in the churchyard about 11 metres north of the chancel of the Church of St. James the Great in Westerleigh. It is made of limestone and features a flat top with a moulded edge and a moulded base. The tomb has scrolled lyre ends and a raised panel with narrow side panels on the north and south sides. The inscriptions on the tomb have worn away over time.
