Description
This is an 18th-century chest tomb located about 4 metres north of the nave of the Church of St. James the Great in Westerleigh. It is made of limestone and features a flat top with a moulded edge. The tomb has plain quarter balusters and an inscription panel on the south side framed by a bolection-moulded surround, while the north side has a plainer moulded surround. The inscriptions on the tomb have worn away over time.
