Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located about 11 metres south of the nave of the Church of Holy Trinity in Doynton. It is made of limestone and features a hipped top with corner pilasters that have raised panels. There are shields on the east and west sides, and double shields serving as inscription panels on the north and south. The tomb has a cornice and the inscriptions are very worn and in poor condition as of the last survey in September 1984.
