Description
The coach house attached to the north of Doynton House dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with stone dressings, quoins, and a plinth, topped with a slate roof featuring raised coped verges, a gable stack to the south, and a finial to the north, covered with double Roman tiles. The building has two storeys and three windows, all set in moulded surrounds with leaded lights, except for the second ground floor window from the right, which has 20th-century glazing. The ground floor windows are topped with relieving arches, while the first-floor windows are situated under the eaves. The ground floor features four windows along with a central carriage entry, double doors, and a circular pitching eye above, with a window on each side and mounting steps to the left. The south gable end has a door in a similar surround with a relieving arch, and there is a single-storey lean-to with double doors. The rear of the building has lean-to additions with roofs of double Roman tiles and corrugated asbestos, featuring three doors and three small windows of varying sizes and intervals. The interior is not accessible.
