Description
This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 8 metres south of the nave of the Church of Holy Trinity. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded edge and a moulded base that is sunken into the ground. It has corner pilasters that are carved with foliage, a cornice, and a plain raised shield on the east side. On the west side, there is a small circular cartouche surrounded by scrolled carving. The north and south sides each display a large oval cartouche with a keystone, and foliage is carved at the sides. The inscriptions on the tomb are very worn.
