Description

The buildings at 79 and 81 High Street date from the late 18th or early 19th century. They are rendered and have a lined finish to suggest ashlar stonework. The roof is slate, and there are brick stacks. The buildings are three storeys high, each with two windows. The windows are 16-pane, glazing bar sashes. A plat band runs between the first and second floors. The entrances have six-panel doors with lattice overlights, protected by a flat hood supported by brackets.
