Description

Rosemount House is an early 19th century villa located on Thornbury High Street. The house is rendered with a hipped slate roof and ashlar stacks. Decorative bargeboards adorn two sides of the roof. It is two storeys high, featuring three windows with glazing bar sashes; some have 20 panes, while others are false. The south side has a six-panel door with a fanlight set within a plain stone surround, and a “gothic” window to the left. A decorative cast iron verandah runs along the south and west sides. A rear wing is also present.
