Description

This is a late 17th-century house situated on the north side of High Street in Marshfield. The construction is of coursed squared rubble, with a double Roman tiled roof and a raised verge on one side. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The ground floor features mid-19th century paired sash windows set within plain stone surrounds. The first floor has 2- and 3-light casement windows, characterised by ovolo moulded mullions and surrounds. A central doorway has been blocked up. A panelled door, positioned on the left-hand side, is topped with a fanlight and a moulded surround featuring carved spandrels, a keystone, and a drip mould.
