Description
This is a group of three chest tombs located in the churchyard, approximately 3 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St. James the Great. They date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and are made of sandstone. Each tomb features a flat top with moulded edges and plain quarter balusters. The monuments commemorate Hannah Gibbs, who died in 1787, Griffin Gibbs, who died in 1799, Joseph Gibbs, who died in 1820, and other members of the Gibbs family.
