Description

Burcombe Spring Farm is a mid-17th century farmhouse constructed of rubble, with a double Roman tiled roof and brick stacks. The oldest section of the building is situated to the east, with later additions and subdivisions extending to the west. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has four windows, the majority of which are modern. A single, original mullion and transom stone window, featuring moulded details and a dripstone with returns, remains at the front. A three-light casement window with moulded stone mullions and a dripstone is located at the rear. Inside, a 17th century six-panel door survives, along with remnants of a panelled screen which was originally in a cross-passage.
